Insurance for Velaris programs is solicited, placed and serviced by Velaris Insurance Agency, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company and licensed insurance agency and surplus lines broker, 1447 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 700, Atlanta, GA 30309. It acts as each program member's producer and broker of record for conventional-carrier placements, whether issued directly to the member or under a group master policy issued to an approved master policyholder. Its designated responsible licensed producer is Andrew Bate, CPCU, National Producer Number 15803197.
Program administration, claims administration and adjusting are provided by Velaris Protection Services, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company at the same address, only under applicable licences and written authority from the responsible insurer or program party.

It is not a licensed insurance producer, third-party administrator, adjuster, insurer, attorney-in-fact or guarantor, and it does not solicit, negotiate or bind insurance. What a licence means for a property manager
Insurance is sold state by state. A producer licence in a state means the agency can quote, bind and service coverage for properties and companies there, and that the state's department of insurance regulates how it does so. An administrator or adjuster licence means the administrator can handle program records and claims in that state under the insurer's written authority, and that the state regulates how it does so.
Many short-term rental programs are written on surplus lines paper, coverage placed with carriers approved to write risks the standard market declines. If your state appears in the agency table, yes. If it does not, ask us: licences are added as the agency expands, and we will confirm your state in writing before you enroll. Coverage is not sold for properties in states where the agency is not licensed.
Who is Velaris Insurance Agency, LLC?
The licensed insurance agency and surplus lines broker within the Velaris group. It is the entity that places the insurance and acts as your broker of record, which is why its name appears on policies and certificates. Velaris Group, Inc. builds and operates the technology, and Velaris Protection Services, LLC administers the programs and claims.

How do I verify a licence?
Every state department of insurance publishes a licence lookup, and the NIPR Producer Lookup covers all states. Search for Velaris Insurance Agency, LLC or the licence number from the table, or for Andrew Bate by National Producer Number 15803197. Owners, HOAs and permit offices that ask for proof of licensing can be sent that lookup result together with a certificate of insurance.
